This package is intended for use with my OddzRez Easy-edit zip.
Download and install that Easy-edit package as per the included
instructions first.

These are mainly the filmstrip sections for the egg and toy "shelf"
.flm file, prepared so that all you have to do to customise your
own is to edit, strip and stick 'em together.

To explain more fully:

Edit them in your favourite paint package (remembering
to "save", not "save as" so that the files will be sure to
remain the same size and palette), then strip off the headers
in a hex editor and stick them all together in the order suggested
by their numbers. The sample header is included so as to make it
clear to you how much will need to be stripped away from each
bitmap. The finished item should be named SHLF.flm and placed
in your game's \art\flmstrps directory. It will overwrite the
original one which you installed from my easy-edit package.

Also included are a few other prepared filmstrips. I haven't had
time to chop up and put headers on all of the filmstrips, so if you
want to change the shape etc of the food or other toys such as the
Robo Pogo or the Atomic Ballyou will need to chop up the .flm files
yourself and give them headers as suggested in my included "howto".

Along with the "howto" I am providing also a bitmap header for Oddballz
plus my hexadecimal colour chart for Oddballz.

The "View" filmstrip is a puzzle to me; I don't see where the game uses
it. The "Play" filmstrip contains that grey default playpen background,
with the P.F.Magic logo on it; also the little bitmap which appears in
the top right-hand corner of your screen when you hit the full-screen
button. If you're editing the shlf.flm such that the funnel is gone,
as with my "egypt" example, you need also to edit the FUNL.flm, or it
will suddenly appear when you put your pet away.

What you _won't_ find in my easy-edit packages: the hand cursor icons,
start-up screen bitmaps, or the icons. If you want to edit those, they
are in the .wad file. They can be extracted and edited of course, but
I cannot make you an easy-edit package for them, sorry. Finding all
those cursors manually in a hex editor would be a big headache; you
could maybe try ExeScope. Although that editor is shareware, not
freeware, it's the only resource editor I know that will handle
the Oddballz game's resource files.

Cheers; have fun!
