This is a little fix which, along with my Easy-Edit package,
can fool the demo Oddballz game into thinking that it's the
full game. You can get to play with all the toyz, and
retail eggz will work with the game.

So, download and install the demo. Then download and install
my easy-edit package. It will still say it's a demo at this stage.

If you've got a sensible version of Windows -- by which I mean Win 95
or 98 :-) -- install the little fix which is in this zipfile by putting
it in your game's main directory (where the .exe is).

The game should now take you straight to an "enter a number" screen.

If you've got XP, you may need to grab the retail "fix" file from
either Don's AmberOddballz http://www.amberzoo.co.uk/oddballz/
or Daniel's Oddballz Neo http://www.dmwright.com/oddballz/
and place the little file in your game's main directory. Say
Yes when it asks to overwrite the file that's there. It may be
that if you have ME, with all the latest updates, you will need their
fix too.

Now you're cookin'. Run the game... When it asks you to enter
a number, trom the UbiSoft help pages, try using this one:

6602-4857-7466

The game will now produce all the toyz for you and if you
download retail-version eggz it will run them properly.

Of course you're still missing some stuff -- some sounds and
the helpfile, for instance -- but the game will run fine without
them.

If you've not downloaded the rest of the "starter" and "retail" eggz,
you might get an error message and game-exit when you browse the in-game
information screens. If so, and you don't want to get the other eggz
(are you _crazy_? LOL) then download my "ptzfiles fix" zipfile.

Enjoy!

Carolyn
