This is a patchfile which will change one byte inside
your BabyzRez.dll file. Please, please make sure that you
put a copy of your BabyzRez.dll file somewhere safe before
you run this. Also of course you do always make sure
that you have safe copies of all your babyz, don't you?
That's something that you should always do anyway, whether
you mess with game files or not.

If you cannot see a BabyzRez.dll file in your Babyz game's
Resource directory using Windows Explorer or My Computer,
then you have to "un-hide" it. You do this by choosing View
from the W. E. or M. C. menu bar and then Options. When the
dialogue box opens, choose the View tab and make sure that
"Show all files" is ticked.

Okay, this is what you need to do to make the BabyzRez.dll
pick up external .lnz files:

Put a copy of your BabyzRez.dll file somewhere safe. Yes,
I know I said this before -- but it's important.

Put the BabyzRezExternalLnzPatch.exe file into your
Babyz Resource directory. Double-click on it to run it.
You should see a DOSbox pop up with this message:

_ file: BabyzRez.dll
_ size: 15971258 Bytes
_ patching ... OK!

If you don't see this, then either your operating system
won't allow DOS programs to run or your BabyzRez.dll file is
different from mine. As far as I know there aren't any
different versions of the game, but I could be wrong.

If this happens, then I'm afraid I don't have a solution
at this time other than to follow the instructions in my
"howto" on altering one letter of L.N.Z inside the huge
BabyzRez.dll file.

Cheers
